West Coast Physical Therapy is located in the Laguna Niguel Medical Plaza at the intersection of Crown Valley and Forbes Roads. The clinic is approximately 3800 square feet and includes a full gym, a therapeutic pool, and full locker room facilities. The gym has a cardiovascular center which includes treadmills, recombinant bicycles, and an upper arm bike to help work on endurance and conditioning of both the upper and lower extremities, as well as a cable system that can be used to work all areas of the body. Balance and core strength training are addressed with therapy balls, a Bosu Platform, balance disks, as well as a KAT dynamic balance trainer. For those individuals with significant difficulty walking or transferring out of their wheelchair, we also have parallel bars to help with this type of functional training.

For patients that are unable to exercise on land due to significant pain, recent surgery, weakness, or balance impairment West Coast Physical Therapy has one of the few indoor pools in South Orange County that is specifically designed for rehabilitation purposes. Our private therapy pool is equipped with whirlpool jets to help relax sore muscles and treat aching joints. It also contains an underwater treadmill that can be adjusted for slow walking, but also has the ability to handle up to a 6 mph jog. The aquatic facility is enclosed and is completely separate from the rest of the clinic. It is designed for private or semi-private use under the guidance of a licensed therapy professional. There are never more that 3 patients in the water at any one time.

Other amenities of the clinic include full locker rooms which include shower facilities in addition to private lockers.

All therapy at West Coast Physical Therapy is provided by licensed physical therapists. There are three doctors of physical therapy currently on staff, one of which is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. Every member of our staff that treats adult patients is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
