Vascular Lab Gains IAC Accreditation

This month the MIMG Vascular Lab was awarded the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission’s seal of Accreditation for its Vascular Program.

Accreditation by the IAC means that the  Mission Internal Medical Group Vascular Laboratory has undergone a thorough review of its operational and technical components by a panel of experts. The IAC grants accreditation only to those facilities that are found to be providing quality patient care, in compliance with national standards through a comprehensive application process including detailed case study review.

IAC accreditation is a “seal of approval” that patients can rely on as an indication that the facility has been carefully critiqued on all aspects of its operations considered relevant by medical experts in the field of Vascular Testing. Oso Niguel Healthcare Center, a division of Mission Internal Medical Group, is a medical office dedicated to the practice of family medicine. The physicians include Drs. James Connor, Timothy Huston, John Meehan and William Steffan, whose aim is to provide long term as well as acute medical care. The office is conveniently located at 27231 La Paz Suite A in Laguna Niguel. The facility is fully equipped for routine and urgent medical care, laboratory analysis, x-ray and many outpatient surgical procedures. The office is unique in that while the emphasis is the traditional “family doctor” approach, it is also combining the flexibility of “walk-in” service, evening and weekend hours avoiding costly emergency room visits. We are currently open 8:00AM to 8:00PM Monday through Friday, Saturdays 9:00AM to 5:00PM, and Sundays 9:00AM to 1:00PM.
